CatalogTracker support

Write to support@acme-co.ca. In the app, Settings → Contact Support opens a new message to that address.

What should I put in the message?

Enough for someone who cannot see your screen to see the problem:

  • What you were doing, what you expected, and what happened instead.
  • The exact words of any message the app showed.
  • The app version, from Settings → General → Version, and your iPhone model and iOS version.
  • The email address you sign in with, if it is not the one you are writing from.
  • A screenshot, if one shows the problem.

Never send a password, a sign-in code, or the response link from a split-sheet invitation. We never ask for them.

How do I delete my account, and what happens to agreements I signed?

Go to Settings → Delete Account. Your profile, your sign-in and the split sheets that were never fully confirmed are removed. A split sheet every party confirmed is a signed agreement, so deleting your account does not cancel it: it is kept for every party with your name on it. Before anything is removed, the deletion screen lets you save every agreement to Files, and we email you a link to each. The privacy policy says exactly what is kept and what is removed.

How do I export or back up my catalog?

Your catalog lives on your iPhone, not on our servers. Everything below is in Settings → Data Management.

  • Export portable copy shares the catalog as JSON or CSV, or saves it to Files. A JSON copy restores on any iPhone with Restore from a file.
  • This Device keeps up to five backups on the iPhone, made automatically when you leave the app. They restore on that iPhone only.
  • iCloud keeps one backup per catalog in your own iCloud, made automatically when you change something and close the app. It needs you signed in to CatalogTracker and to iCloud.

What if I lose my iPhone?

Sign out the lost phone from any other device signed in to your account: Settings → Sign Out of Other Devices. Every other device is signed out within an hour, at its next refresh. With no other device, sign in on a new iPhone first and do it there. If you backed up to iCloud, Settings → Data Management → iCloud → Restore from iCloud brings the catalog back.
